Rami has followed the ongoing Syrian Civil War for nearly eight years, as it forced close friends and family members to leave everything behind and start new lives. Men, women and children who are incapable or unwilling to leave Syria have faced chemical attacks, bombings and starvation, amongst many other grave dangers.
UNICEF has reported since 2016 that Syria has become one of the most dangerous places to be a child. Amour partnered with illustrator Joshua Clements to create their ‘Amour For Syria’ tees, where all profits are donated to the Syrian Children's Relief Fund hosted by Save The Children.
